Team Effectiveness Audit
Allows teams to celebrate what is working well, identify where the challenges are and create the space to have meaningful conversations about what needs to change.
For up to 6 team members - £2,800
You know that the team isn’t working well together and you know it's costing your organisation.
The team feels:
- Disgruntled
- Frustrated
- Unproductive
You want everyone to move forward together but progress is slower when it's hard to even articulate what is wrong and what needs to change.
The Team Effectiveness Audit uses the Team DyNAmics Report to measure how effective your team is across the 16 key dimensions of a high performing team.
This is not about outputs.
This process is about understanding how well your team works together as a team so you can see where there is any lost potential or capacity.

Using the Team Dynamics report enables teams to:
- Gain honest feedback from team members on what is working well and what can be improved within the team.
- Have measurable, granular data to inform meaningful discussions about what needs to change.
- Generate practical solutions to overcome the challenges identified.
- Create a benchmark to measure the impact that any changes have had on their teamwork.
Hi, I'm Jo
I’m a qualified Executive Coach and Workplace Mediator with over 10 years’ experience helping organisations move past conflict and rebuild stronger, healthier teams.
Because I’m independent, I don’t come in with any emotional connection to the situation. I can remain impartial and create a safe space where employees feel heard and valued again.
When people feel heard, they feel respected and when they feel respected, they give more back to the organisation.
By involving a third party, you:
- Free leaders to focus on strategic priorities instead of team disputes
- Rebuild trust and relationships within the team
- Support HR by lifting a heavy burden from their desk
- Protect the wider culture and performance of the organisation

Jo Miller
Team Conflict Resolution Specialist
A Team Effectiveness Audit is a quick and effective way to resolve the issues that are causing pain and tension before they grow into something bigger.
Imagine leaders free to drive the organisation forward.
Imagine a team working together again, pulling in the same direction.
Imagine HR able to focus on their priorities instead of firefighting.
Imagine conflict no longer holding your organisation back.
The Process
The Team DyNAmics Report is produced based on feedback provided by members of the team.
1. Anonymous questionnaire
Each team member is invited to complete an anonymous, online questionnaire. The questionnaire takes around 20 minutes to complete.
2. Creating a Team Effectiveness Report
A report is created providing the team’s overall effectiveness score, and a detailed analysis of the 16 key elements of a high-performing team.
3. Identifying the priorities
In a half day workshop the team will meet to discuss the findings in the Team DyNAmics Report and identify the priority areas to address.
4. Creating an action plan
Together the team creates an action plan that everyone agrees will address the challenges the team is facing.
5. Repeating the process
The process is repeated after 4 months to measure the progress and update the action plan.
This workshop is most useful when the team isn't operating to it's full potential, and needs a structured process to evaluate what is working well and what can be improved.
How it Works
The Team Effectiveness Audit gives you measurable, actionable data on what's working well and what can be improved.
Creating a safe space
An anonymous questionnaire and someone independent to facilitate the workshops creates a safe space for everyone in the team to share their views.
In Person or Online
Workshops can be carried out effectively both in person and online, depending on what works best for the team.
Timescales
I recommend repeating the Team DyNAmics Report after 4 months to assess progress, but this could be up to 6 months after the initial workshop depending on the needs of the team.
Frequently Asked Questions
Who should be included in a team?
To get the best results a team is the line manager and their direct reports.
How long should the team have worked together before carrying out a Team Effectiveness Audit?
Ideally the team will have been working together for at least 6 months so there is enough information for everyone to base their questionnaire responses on.
What happens if there are new members in the team or someone joins the team during this process?
That's not a problem.
We won't ask them to complete the questionnaires as they won't have enough experience of how the team works to draw on. However, they can join in the workshops and be part of the discussion to identify the team priorities and the action plan.
What if there are more than 6 people in the team?
If you have more than 6 people in your team get in touch. Let's chat about who you have in your team and I can give you a quote.
Is there support available between the two workshops?
Yes, we'll plan in monthly check in calls to monitor progress against the action plan to keep you and the team on track.
If you would like more support to implement the changes identified I can put together a proposal tailored to your needs.
