From Conflict to Collaboration: The Team Communication Workshop

A powerful one-day workshop to improve self-awareness, adapt communication styles, and move your team from conflict to collaboration.

For up to 6 team members - £1,800

Is your team struggling to gel?

Whether you are a newly formed group, a virtual team, or an established unit facing challenges, differences in working styles can often be misinterpreted as conflict. Low-level friction, misunderstandings, and a lack of cohesion can drain productivity and engagement.

But what if those differences became your team's superpower?

This workshop is designed to help you understand yourself and each other better. By exploring the unique preferences within your team, you will create a safe environment to turn potential sources of conflict into a foundation for stronger relationships and effective collaboration.

Why invest a day in your Team?

Taking a day out of the office is an investment, but the return is a team that works together. Think of what that is worth for your organisation (and your sanity).

Stop letting personality clashes drain your productivity.

Using Clarity4D personality profiles, this workshop empowers your team to decode their own 'instinctive selves' and adapt their style to connect with anyone.

Your staff will build deeper trust with colleagues and customers, turning diverse working styles into your organisation’s strongest competitive advantage.

This workshop delivers:

  • Improved Communication
  • Deeper Self & Team Awareness
  • Stronger Relationships
  • A Common Language
  • Tangible Collaboration

Hi, I'm Jo

I’m a qualified Executive Coach and Workplace Mediator with over 10 years’ experience helping organisations move past conflict and rebuild stronger, healthier teams.

Because I’m independent, I don’t come in with any emotional connection to the situation. I can remain impartial and create a safe space where employees feel heard and valued again.

When people feel heard, they feel respected and when they feel respected, they give more back to the organisation.

By involving a third party, you:

  • Free leaders to focus on strategic priorities instead of team disputes
  • Rebuild trust and relationships within the team
  • Support HR by lifting a heavy burden from their desk
  • Protect the wider culture and performance of the organisation
Jo Miller from Teams Reconnected sat on a step leaning on her knee thinking about how workplace mediation can be used to resolve team conflict.

The Team Communication Workshop is a powerful one-day workshop to improve self-awareness, adapt communication styles, and move your team from conflict to collaboration.

Imagine leaders free to drive the organisation forward.

Imagine a team working together again, pulling in the same direction.

Imagine HR able to focus on their priorities instead of firefighting.

Imagine conflict no longer holding your organisation back.

The Process

Clarity4D personality profiles are a powerful tool to develop self-awareness, awareness of others, and a greater understanding of our personal impact.

However, it's the conversations that take place afterwards where the greatest learning happens.

1. Exploring the current situation

Before the session, I meet with the team's leader to understand the specific context, priorities, and challenges.

2. Agree the objectives for the workshop

This ensures the workshop content reflects the team's real-world organisational needs.

3. Online questionnaire

Each participant is invited to complete an online questionnaire. The questionnaire takes around 15 - 20 minutes to complete.

4. Creating the Clarity4D profiles

A unique Clarity4D personality profile is created for each participant, based on their responses to the questionnaire. Every participant is sent a copy of their own profile before the workshop so they have time to read and reflect on what it says.

5. Workshop session one

The day is split into two integrated sessions designed to build momentum from personal insight to team action. The focus for the first session is on understanding yourself to understand others.

6. Workshop session two

Building on the learning from the first session, this session focuses on how those insights can be used to build a stronger team culture and better collaboration.

7. The outcome

The team leaves being able to recognise and value the differences within the team, and with clear strategies to adapt their approach when communicating with people with different styles.

They also leave with practical tools and resources they can continue to use in team meetings after the workshop to support the ongoing development of the culture, trust and communication in the team.

This workshop is most useful when the differences in a team are a source of tension, rather than the team's greatest strength.

How it Works

The Team Communication Workshop is a one-day workshop that creates a safe, facilitated environment to explore team culture.

Creating a safe space

As an independent person facilitating the workshop I am able to create a safe space for everyone in the team to share their views.

In Person

I recommend this is run as an in-person event as that helps to create stronger connections between team members.

Timescales

This is a one day workshop, with follow up activities provided that can be used to continue the work with the team after the workshop.
